(2x-6)(x+4)=-2x
(2x-4)(x+6)=8x
(2x-8)(x+3)=-2x
(2x-3)(x+8)=13x
(2x-12)(x+2)=-8x
*(2x-2)(x+12)=10x
2) 4x(2) + 20x + 25
factors of 4x(2), (2x,2x), (1x,4x), (1x,4x)
factors of 25, (5,5)

gas prices (new)

Gas bill per week; p= price t= total
350/mpg x p = t
350/4 x 1.93 = t
87.5 x 1.93 = t
87.5 x 1.93 = 168.87
284.38-168.87=115.51 I would save $115.51!
That is a lot cheaper than what i would spend before.

Gas bill for a month;
(350/mpg)p x 4=t
350/4 x 1.9 x 4 =t
87.5 x 1.93 x 4=t
168.87 x 4 = 675.48 I would be able to spend 462.04 on different items

Gas bill for a year;
(350/mpg)p x 4 x 12=t
(350/4)1.93 x 4 x 12=t
87.5 x 1.93 x 4 x 12=t
168.87 x 4 x 12=t
168.87 x 48= 8,105.76 I would save $5,544.48.

Gs bill for 75 years;
(35o/mpg)p x 4 x 12 x 75=t
(350/4)1.93 x 4 x 12 x 75=t
87.5 x 1.93 x 4 x 12 x 75=t
168.87 x 48 x 75=t
8,105.76 x 75=607,937    I would save $415,852 dollars for 75 years. I would still spend a lot of money but not as much.

Something I learned is that polynomials are used for many other subjects, like science, calculus, economics, chemistry, and physics. Something I understood more is that u can't combine terms that aren't like terms. The video and websites didn't teach me much but they did clear stuff up.

1) What article did you chose and why? I chose the article the bedfan because the name Bedfan sounded ineresting.

2) How does it relate to you? (if not you, your parents, your grandparents, your aunts, uncles, older siblings, etc.) This item relates to mer because I get hot at night and I like that it only uses 10 watts.

3) What did learn from reading this article? Be specific! I learned that the bedfan is low cost and is only 10 watts. I also learned that that it is a better way to cool off while sleeping and doesn't rack up ur energy bill.

1) What article did you chose and why? I chose the article magicjack because I heard of it before and I wanted to learn more about it.

2) How does it relate to you? (if not you, your parents, your grandparents, your aunts, uncles, older siblings, etc.) This article relates to me because I have family and friends that live far away in New Zealand, Europe, and also Australia.

3) What did learn from reading this article? Be specific! I learned that the magicjack plugs into your computer and then you plug in your phone and you get crystal clear long distance calling. I also leaned that it's cheaper to use the magic jack than a regular phone bill.

350/mpg x p=t I would spend $284.38 per week.
350/4 x 3.25=t
350/4=87.5
87.5 x 3.25=284.38

Bonus: The average amount of weeks in a month is 4.
(350/mpg)p x 4=t
350/4 x 3.25 x 4 =t
87.5 x 3.25 x 4=t
284.38 x 4 = 1137.52 I would spend $1137.52 per month. That is a lot of money.

Gas bill for a year
(350/mpg)p x 4 x 12=t I would spend $13,650.24 per year. That is a LOT of money
(350/4)3.25 x 4 x 12=t
87.5 x 3.25 x 4 x 12=t
284.38 x 4 x 12=t
284.38 x 48=13,650.24

Gas bill for  75 years I would spend $1,023,789 in 75 years. That is a LOT of money.
(35o/mpg)p x 4 x 12 x 75=t
(350/4)3.25 x 4 x 12 x 75=t
87.5 x 3.25 x 4 x 12 x 75=t
284.38 x 48 x 75=t
13,650.52 x 75=1,023,789

1) What car will you buy and why? If my parents got me a car I would want a Pagani Zonda R. I like this car because it is aerodinamic, sleek look, and very strong and fast.
2) Google your car, go the car's website, then find out:a) How many gallons does your gas tank hold? b) How many miles do you get per gallon (mpg)? The car gets 4 miles to the gallon. and the tank size is 20 gallons. I would get 80 miles per tank.
3)Now you can figure out how much will it cost you to fill your tank. Use the link below to find local gas prices. I would pay $65 per fill up. Averaging 2 fill ups a week, that would be $130 per week and $6760 per year.
The car also costs 1.2 million dollars to get the car. This car will be expensive.

Assignment #1

I think we are having blogs because it is a good way to communicate, like if we are sick and need to know what we learned in class that day. It could help me if I don't get something that was taught in class you can explain it better. I hope it helps me because there really is no point in having it if it doesn't help me. I think the point is to help us with school work and to learn about technology.
